Pressed from the leaves of untended trees in 2003, Wild at Heart opens like a mountainwind through ancient boughs. THe liquor carries the scent of rain-dark wood and moss, with a bitterness that soon softens into warmth — as though the forest itself were revealing both its edge and its embrace. EAch infusion arrives differently: sudden as stormlight, gentle as falling ash. To drink it is to feel the wildwood moving through you, leaving its trace long after the cup is empty.
Crafted as a custom order tea cake, and produced under the direct supervision of Master Ho of Taiwan. This tea has aged and matured for more than 20 years deep in the mountains of central Taiwan. Released now from his collection, Wild at Heart stands as both the lineage of its origin and the quiet discipline of its keeping— a rare chance to drink from a living lineage.
