Stewardship
The decision to live in balance with nature is not a slogan, but a recognition of continuity — a promise that the forests which sustain tea will endure.
In Yunnan, the House of Zhou and their partners in have long worked in this spirit. Their approach to cultivation and harvest respects the mountain forests where tea trees have grown for generations.
Their influence extends beyond their own gardens. Throughout the region, many producers now follow similar ecological practices, recognizing that the health of the forest and the quality of the tea are inseparable.
This care is visible in the cup itself: in the clarity of the liquor, and in the depth that comes from leaves grown in living landscapes.
At Cloudwalker, we are honoured to carry forward this tradition of stewardship. These are not simply products of refinement, but expressions of the mountains from which they come.
Many of the teas we source come from semi-wild and forest-grown tea trees, some of which have been producing tea for generations.
